Tapylon – modular jewellery system by Anne Sievers is based on Y-shaped, flat elements; they are made of thermo-plastic synthetic and are only a few centimetres in size. They can be interconnected at different points via a snap button system. Thanks to the material’s pliability, flat or three-dimensional shapes can be plugged together.
Designed as jewellery and accessories, they are also imaginable as delicate room sculptures. When the links are detached, the individual elements return to their flat shape. Thanks to the possibilities that the system offers, polyethylene not only becomes a precious substance, but also turns from a purely functional, indestructible material to an aesthetic statement.
The product is currently available in 11 colours. Tapylon is made in Germany.

Tapylon – modular jewellery system by Anne Sievers basiert auf ypsilon-förmigen, nur wenige Zentimeter großen, flachen Elementen aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff. Sie lassen sich über ein Druckknopfsystem an mehreren Stellen miteinander verbinden. Dank der Biegsamkeit des Materials können flache oder dreidimensionale Figuren gesteckt werden.
Als Schmuck und Accessoire entwickelt, sind sie auch als filigrane Raumskulptur denkbar. Löst man die Verbindungen wieder, gehen die Einzelelemente in ihre flache Ausgangsform zurück. Polyethylen wird dank der Möglichkeiten, die das System bietet, als wertvoller Stoff wahrgenommen und vom rein funktional gewürdigten, unzerstörbaren Material zum ästhetischen Statement.

柔軟な熱可塑性樹脂からなるTapylonは、取り外し可能なスナップリンキングシステムにより、エレメント同士を接続して、ジュエリー、アクセサリ、インテリアに、自分らしさ、ライフスタイルに合わせて、平面的、立体的に、自らデザイン、造形することが可能です。
耐久性をそなえる機能的な物質であるオレフィン系樹脂が、一過性ではない、持続性と発展性を備えた、エシカルで美的に価値のあるものに生まれ変わります。
